This video clip is one of several featuring world-renowned physicist C.S. Wu that we produced for an interactive, touch-screen kiosk at the National Museum of American History. Oak Ridge, Tennessee, was one of the secret sites involved in developing the bomb. In this clip, Dr. Wu tells how she and other researchers at Columbia University in New York were invited to visit the site, which they had known nothing about.
