The Team
David and Andrew first connected in 2012 around their passion for artificial intelligence and storytelling. After each dedicating a decade to leading the innovation of new data products at their respective category-leading technology companies, they formally joined forces in 2021 to invent what they believe to be a critical missing piece of AI technology, one that would unlock new ways for humans to interact with information.Â
David Navama
Co-founder + CEO
Serial entrepreneur, venture fund founder and most recently, President and Chief Innovation Officer of SPINS, leading data company in the grocery industry. Joined SPINS via merger of his company Destini in 2013 and helped drive 8 years of record growth, culminating in an exit in 2021 (Warburg Pincus, General Atlantic and Georgian).
Andrew Paley
Co-founder + Chief Science & Technology Officer
Inventor on 20+ artificial intelligence patents, 10+ year veteran of bleeding-edge startups, and most recently, PhD candidate in Computer Science at Northwestern University with a research focus on artificial intelligence. Accomplished songwriter, producer, and world-touring artist with multiple releases and collaborations.
Andong Li Zhao
Lead Engineer, Analytics Engine
Andong Li Zhao is a AI Researcher and Engineer; prior to his work at Storyline he was a PhD candidate in Computer Science at Northwestern University focusing on end-to-end automation of data science. Coming from a unique multicultural background, he previously organized AI conferences in Latin America. In his spare time, he is an avid swimmer, having recently swam a 10k and shooting to do a 15k next summer.
